The result an anti-matter explosion at Metropolis Spaceport, Wildfire lost his human body, causing him to become a creature of sentient energy. He is kept together by his containment suit, which also allows him to project his energy as an offensive weapon. Believed to have died on a mission with the Legion, he was actually dispersed by the destruction of his containment suit, and took many months to gather himself before he returned to Earth. He is a former Legion leader and currently dates Dawnstar.
