The Legion of Super-Villains (Adult)
Unknown - Titan

Little is known of the woman who joined Lightning Lord and Cosmic King in an attempt to defeat Superman in the 20th Century. She later resurfaced with her companions in an earlier decade of the 30th Century, but was ultimately defeated by the Legion of Super-Heroes and sent to prison there. What her true story is remains to be seen.

Mext Ranzz - Winath

A single birth on a planet where twin births are the norm, Lightning Lord developed an anti-social personality in response to his circumstances. When the spacecraft which he was travelling in along with his brother and sister ran into electrical difficulties, the Ranzz siblings forcably landed their craft on the planetoid Korbal. In an attempt to lure the local lightning beasts to recharge their battery, they were charged with electrical energy themselves, giving them the ability to generate lighting. Given his newfound powers, Lightning Lord decided to turn to a life of crime. He is a founding member of the Legion of Super-Villains.

Laevar Bolto - Venus

An alchemist from the planet Venus, Cosmic King invented a ray which could change the atomic structure of all objects. During a dizzy spell he then stumbled into its path, but instead of being changed himself, he developed the same power as the ray. Finding such activity to be banned on Venus, he was forced to leave his homeworld, and eventually joined the Legion of Super-Villains.

Unknown - Unknown

Although he looks like a Durlan, Chameleon Chief has always maintained that he is not from the planet Durla. In addition to being able to change his own form, he is also able to change the form of other objects. Chameleon Chief once travelled back in time with his male counterparts in the Legion of Super-Villains in an attempt to free the Phantom Zone villains.

Nigel Douglous - Earth

Despite the obvious similarity in appearance between Sun Emperor and Sun Boy, there is no apparent connection between the two. How Sun Emperor received his powers is unknown, but they appear to be similar in nature to those of Sun Boy. Sun Emperor once travelled back in time with his male counterparts in the Legion of Super-Villains in an attempt to free the Phantom Zone villains.

Lex Luthor - Earth

Born in Smallville, Lex Luthor lost his hair in a laboratory accident involving Superboy and swore revenge against the boy of steel. He then followed him to Metropolis, where he continued his vendetta against Superman, but has always been unsuccessful in his attempts to thwart the man of steel. Although not officially a member of the Legion of Super-Villains, Luthor was responsible for bringing them to the 20th Century, where they were defeated by their adult counterparts in the Legion of Super-Heroes.

Benno Tarik - Earth

A civilian whose larynx was destroyed by a stray blast from a Science Police officer during a shootout, Tarik the Mute developed a hatred for all law enforcement agencies everywhere. He then decided to form a counterpart to the Legion of Super-Heroes, using rejected Legion applicants and other criminal types as its members. He even went so far as to use stolen Legion data as the basis upon which his training regimes were designed, but was unable to achieve success when the Legion discovered his base of operations. Tarik communicates through a telepathic android which serves as his voice.

Tarik's android uses telepathy to read the mind of its master and speak his words for him. It also serves as a bodyguard for Tarik, and has shown no independence of its own.

Mext Ranzz - Winath

While returning from a party with his brother Garth and sister Ayla, the Ranzz family spacecraft ran into electrical difficulties and had to land on the planetoid Korbal. Hart Druiter - Myar

An alchemist from the planet Myar, Nemesis Kid devised a formula which would give him the ability to instantly analysize an opponent and produce a necessary defense against them. He joined the Legion of Super-Heroes during the first Khundian invasion of Earth as a Khundish spy, but was soon found out and escaped. He was one of the first candidates recruited by Tarik the Mute to join his academy for super-villains. He is a founding member of the Legion of Super-Villains.

Super-Power: Variable: whatever is necessary to defeat foe in combat

Roy Travich - Earth

Wanting to be a super-hero, Radiation Roy used his inherited wealth to fund strange experiments which gave him the ability to project various kinds of radiation. Deemed to be too dangerous to other Legionnaires, he was rejected by the Legion due to his lack of control. He is a founding member of the Legion of Super-Villains.

Ronn Kar - Neptune

A rejected Legion applicant, Ronn Kar was dismissed from the Legion upon demonstrating his ability to turn himself super-flat. He fell in with a group of other Legion rejectees who were approached by Tarik the Mute to join a school for super-villains. Not having any other offers, he became a founding member of the Legion of Super-Villains.

Sussa Paka - Earth

Spider Girl was another Legion applicant rejected from the Legion due to the fact that her power was not considered valuable enough to be of benefit to the Legion. She was approached by Tarik the Mute to join his school for super-villains, and agreed to his offer. She is a founding member of the Legion of Super-Villains.

The Fatal Five
Tharok - Zadron

When one half of his body was accidentially destroyed while attempting to steal a miniature nuclear device, Zadronnian technology was able to preserve the remaining half of Tharok by attaching it to a robot. The resulting cyborg combination produced a criminal mind on level with that of a Coluan, with a pathological hatred of all law enforcement agencies to fuel it. When Earth's solar system was threatened by an approaching Sun-Eater, Tharok was offered amnesty in exchange for his assistance in defeating the threat. Once the threat was over, Tharok joined with the other villains who where offered amnesty in forming the Fatal Five.

Mano - Angtu

Born on a planet with an extremely toxic environment, Mano was born with the ability to disintergrate all matter via a glowing disc on his right hand. His greatest act of destruction was when he turned his hand upon his home planet, destroying both it and all who lived upon it. After that event he became a hired killer, and was sentenced to have his right arm removed, but was given a reprive to battle the Sun-Eater which was threatening Earth. After it was destroyed, Mano joined with the other villains who were gathered to defeat the threat in forming the Fatal Five.

Super-Power: Disintegration

Unknown - Unknown

Feared throughout ten solar systems, the Persuader wields an Atomic Axe, a relic from Earth's WW VII. Offered amnesty in exchange for his assistance in defeating the Sun-Eater which was threatening Earth, the hired killer agreed, and joined with four other villains in assisting the Legion of Super-Heroes defeat the threat. Once the crisis was over, the Persuader joined his fellow villains in forming the Fatal Five.

Super-Power: Great than average strength

Validus - Unknown

Little is known of Validus' true origins. He was recruited by Sun Boy to help the Legion of Super-Heroes defeat the Sun-Eater which was threatening Earth, and joined his fellow villains in forming the Fatal Five. Not really evil, Validus is child-like and manipulated by the computer brain of Tharok. He is at least as strong as Superboy, and is able to hurl mental lightning.

Sarya - Venegar

Guilty of numerous criminal acts, the Emerald Empress was recruited by Superboy for her assistance in defeating the Sun-Eater which was threatening Earth. In exchange for amnesty, she agreed to join the Legion and other super-villains in order to beat the threat. Once the Sun-Eater was destroyed, she joined with her fellow villains in forming the Fatal Five.

None - Ekron

Little is known of the Emerald Eye of Ekron, save that its powers are numerous, and that it forms a bond with its wielder. Currently under the control of the Emerald Empress, the Eye is able to fulfill virtually all of her commands, making her arguably the most powerful member of the Fatal Five. The Eye shows no independence of its own.

Evillo - Tartarus

Prince Evillo is the ruler of a perpetually dark world which is a known haven for criminals. He siphons off the evil from them in order to convert non-criminals to evil. He is the leader of the Devil's Dozen.

Super-Power: Emits blasts of darkness from horns

Tal Obrin - Unknown

Like all the men of his homeworld, Apollo is irresistable to women, and has been known to use his talents in order to commit crimes. He is one of Prince Evillo's top four lieutenants in the Devil's Dozen.

The Wild Huntsman is a centaur who possesses the ability to run on air. He also possess a storm horn which creates great gusts of air, and also carries a lasso. He is one of Prince Evillo's top four lieutenants in the Devil's Dozen.

Sugyn - Unknown

Eternally thirsty, Sugyn must always drink in order to quench his thirst. He is also able to expel liquid which he has consumed as a geyser. He is one of Prince Evillo's top four lieutenants in the Devil's Dozen.

Xola Aq - Naltor

The sister of Dream Girl, the White Witch was transformed into the Hag by a magical spell, and was then converted to evil by Prince Evillo. Taking the name Xola Aq instead of her given name of Mysa Nal, she was later restored to her natural form by her sister.

Mordru - Zerox

Buried alive for a thousand years, Mordru resurfaced in the 30th Century to launch an invasion of the United Plants. Defeated by Superboy and Mon-El, he was placed in an airless crypt, from which he later escaped.

Unknown - End of Time

From his domain at the End of Time, the Time Trapper has sought to increase his influence toward earlier centuries, most notably the 30th, which is the time of the Legion. Little is known of him, including his reasons for fixating on the Legion.

Glorith - Baaldur

A subordinate of the Time Trapper, Glorith was dispatched by her boss to devolve the Legionnaires, but was foiled in her attempt to do so. As her punishment, she met the fate which had been reserved for the Legion.

Computo - Earth

Created by Brainiac 5, Computo quickly overrode his original programming and became a threat to the Legion. He was responsible for the death of Triplicate Girl.

Kivun Roxxas - Unknown

When Roxxas heard about the planet Trom and the ability of its inhabitants to change the chemical composition of matter, he decided to force them to make valuable elements for him. When they refused, he killed the entire population of the planet, save one -- a teenager who would later become Element Lad. On the Legionnaire's first mission, Roxxas was brought to justice.

Lars Hanscom - Earth

Originally a Legionnaire under hypnosis, Starfinger was Dr. Lars Hanscom's plan to steal a precious metal known as Rejuvium, which can restore an individual's youth. When his plan was uncovered, he was arrested by the Legion.

Super-Power: Uses mechanical hand to project various rays

Vorm - Unknown

A covert agent sent to infiltrate the Legion, Dynamo Boy used a special belt to make it seem as though he had super-powers. He then used technicalities to expel every Legionnaire save himself. When the expelled Legionnaires caught on to his trick, the rightful Legion was restored.

Vidar - Earth

A master of hypnotism, Universo is set on conquering the universe through covert means. Defeated by the Legion on more than one occassion, he continues to be a thorn in the Legion's side.

Mantis Morlo - Unknown

The creator of the Chemiods, Dr. Mantis Morlo was a frustrated scientist who swore revenge on the Legion for stopping him from conducting illegal experiments on humans. He was eventually imprisoned by the Legion.

Jaxon Regulus - Earth

An employee of Sun Boy's father, Dr. Regulus blamed the future Legionnaire for his dismissal, and then proceeded to attempt to kill him. Instead, he became responsible for giving Sun Boy his super-powers. Believing gold to be a potent amplifier of solar power, he built a gold ship and a gold uniform for himself. He escaped capture by the Legion, and remains at large.

Garlak - Khundia

As the warlord responsible for the first Khundian invasion of Earth, Garlak refused to surrender when that invasion was thwarted, and was instead captured by Karate Kid. He then became a prisoner of war.

Lex Luthor - Earth

When an accident in his lab involving Superboy caused the teenage Lex Luthor to lose his hair, he swore revenge on the boy of steel, an oath which he carried into adulthood. As a teenager he once travelled to the future and tricked the Legion into thinking that he was his past self before he turned to evil, but he was eventually uncovered and defeated.

Super-Power: None

Nardo - Unknown

As revenge against all super-heroes, Nardo established the Super-Stalag of Space, a prison camp on which he imprisoned, and often killed, super-heroes. After capturing Brainiac 5, the Legion swarmed to his rescue, only to find themselves captured as well. Nardo was eventually defeated by the Legion.
